Pace Calculator
Calculate running pace, time, or distance. Choose what you want to know, enter the other two values, and the answer fills in instantly.
How the Pace Calculator Works
Choose what you want to solve for using the Solve for buttons — Pace, Time, or Distance. Then fill in the other two fields and the answer appears instantly.
Pace is selected by default. Enter your distance and goal finish time, and your required pace appears in the Pace field.
Three Questions, One Tool
Switch the solve target to answer different questions:
- Pace — “What pace do I need to run 10K in 45 minutes?”
- Time — “How long does a 15-mile run at 9:00/mi take?”
- Distance — “If I run 8:30/mi for 3 hours, how far do I go?”
The green field is always the answer. The other two are your inputs.
Zone Note
Below the inputs, you’ll see a note describing where the pace falls relative to typical training zones — based on a reference VDOT of 50. Use the VDOT Calculator for your personal zones.
