The short version: Pacesmith does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device.
Data Collection
Pacesmith collects no data. The app makes zero network calls. All calculations happen locally on your device using the Daniels-Gilbert VDOT formula. Your race results and calculation history are stored only in your device’s local storage and are never transmitted anywhere.
Third-Party Services
Pacesmith uses Apple’s StoreKit for the one-time in-app purchase. Apple’s own privacy policy governs that transaction. Pacesmith itself has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs.
Analytics & Tracking
None. Pacesmith contains no analytics frameworks, no crash reporting tools, and no advertising identifiers.
Children’s Privacy
Pacesmith does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Given that Pacesmith collects no data, we do not anticipate significant changes.
